PRINCIPLE 5 – "WHAT GETS  MEASURED, GETS MANAGED"

 

Tracking your progress has been shown to increase the chances of successfully introducing new positive behavior changes. Without a system for tracking your habits, it is hard to measure your performance and stay accountable.

 

This Program has been designed to focus on this all-important aspect of monitoring your progress on your journey to self-improvement and living an optimized life. Each day, you can record your daily wins by clicking “Complete Step” for the habits that you cultivated that day.

 

Recording your small wins each evening allows you to “win the day” – and end each day with the feeling that you have progressed and improved areas of your life that are important to you. When we sense that we are progressing and improving it boosts our self-esteem and is the most effective form of motivation. This daily tracking creates a positive feedback loop pushing you to keep moving forward.

 

This also serves to hold you accountable as you should only click “Complete Step” if you have worked on that habit that day (as opposed just reading the lesson and gathering information without taking action). This allows you to see where you are succeeding and where you might need to focus more effort.
