Since she started training at Moxie Boutique Fitness Studio in September 2022, Melissa has lost a total of 17.8 pounds, her body fat is down by 4.1%; her BMI is down 2.7, and she has lost a total of 5.75 inches all over (although it looks like way more in her photos)! Melissa has been training with me 3x/week with a few "blips" here and there (because illness, injury, life).

Melissa owns a day care in Long Island (yep, you read that right!). So between the long commute and picking up little kids all day long, planning and preparation are crucial for successful habit change. She has made some simple changes to her nutrition habits, like trying to eat protein with every meal / snack, planning healthy family meals ahead of time, packing her food to bring to work so she has healthy options on hand (and isn't stuck eating the same PB&J that she's serving the kids!).

Here's what Melissa had to say:

"I started working out just to get me moving again. No real goals except I wanted to lose weight and look better. What happened was more than just moving! I became a healthier me! First, I started slow and simple with small changes in my food choices, making sure I actually eat multiple times a day, and meal prepping. I'm more aware of my portion sizes and my daily choices and I listen to my body - no more over eating.

Workouts are different from anything I've done in the past. Simply, Tracy is the best 1-on-1 trainer. My workouts are tailored to me. Tracey encourages me, gives me the boost / push I need. Consistency is key, and when life gets in the way, it's okay. I still show who's the boss and do the best I can with whatever arises."
