FEATURED CLIENT: BRIDGET


Since she started training at Moxie Boutique Fitness Studio in May 2023, Bridget has lost a total of 25.6 pounds, her body fat is down by 7.0%; her BMI is down 4.6, and she has lost a total of 17.75 inches all over!


Bridget has been training with me 2-3x/week with a few "blips" here and there (because: life...). During our first 7-8 months together, she saw improvements in her fitness and overall health. But it wasn't until January 2024 - when Bridget committed to consistently following her Moxie Custom Calorie, Macro & Portion Guide, prioritizing protein, and limiting alcohol - that that she started to see dramatic changes in body composition / fat loss.


Bridget is a single mom of a 7-year old special needs child so there are frequent overnight visits to CHOP, doctor's appointments, etc....and she works full-time. Also, her job requires her to eat out several times per week. It took her a while but she finally realized that without planning and preparation she would continue to not see results. (Fail to plan = plan to fail). Everyone is busy. It's just a matter of priorities. She adds workouts and meal prep to her schedule just like any other meeting or appointment.


While our fitness programs will provide guidance on enhancing overall health while focusing on movement quality, joint and core stabilization, muscular strength, injury avoidance, aesthetics, and body composition, the most significant changes in body composition and muscle development will happen with proper nutrition. Diet / nutrition accounts for at least 70 percent of the health-and-weight loss equation. Movement and regular exercise are important for many reasons, but they don't mean much if the foundation of your nutrition is full of holes. (In other words, you cannot "out-exercise" a poor diet).
