PILLAR 1: PHYSICAL BODY

The first three Domains (Nutrition, Movement, Sleep) will focus on your PHYSICAL BODY. Your physical body is the “vehicle” which carries you through life and if you don’t look after it and supply it with the right “fuel”, it will not function optimally. If you exert too much stress on your vehicle and its “engine” and don’t maintain it in good condition, it will break down.

 

Without your body functioning at its best, you lack the foundation upon which to make other positive changes in your life. It is therefore important to have habits which work to optimize and improve the key aspects of your body health.

DOMAIN: NUTRITION

SKILLS:

  1. Eat Enough Nutrients - All of the practices underneath this skill focus on quantity of what clients are eating.

  2. Choose Better Foods - All of the practices underneath this skill focus on quality of what clients are eating.

  3. Eat Well Consistently - All of the practices underneath this skill focus on the systems, scheduling, and structure of how clients are eating.

  4. Eat Well Intuitively - All of the practices underneath this skill focus on mental and emotional factors of how clients are eating.

 

DOMAIN: MOVEMENT

SKILLS

  1. Move Often - All of the practices under this skill focus on more external regulation factors of maintaining a consistent movement routine: e.g., systems, scheduling, and structure.

  2. Move Well - All of the practices under this skill focus on the internal regulation factors of maintaining a consistent movement routine.

DOMAIN: SLEEP

SKILLS

  1. Get Enough Sleep - The practices underneath this skill focus on improving sleep quality.

  2. Get Deep Sleep - The practices underneath this skill focus on getting the right amount of sleep (typically, increasing time asleep).
